The Jaussen & Savignac Programme Welcomes Five New PhD Students
As the 2026–2027 academic year begins, the Jaussen & Savignac Programme (université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Royal Commission for AlUla), welcomes five new doctoral students to its scientific community: Raghad Alhaddad, Aële Brihat, Hugo Gerbault, Floris Humbert and Moussa Jaghdami.
Among them, Raghad Alhaddad and Moussa Jaghdami are former Saudi students of the Programme’s Master 1 in Archaeology and Preventive Conservation. Their academic journeys highlight the continuity between education and research, as well as the lasting connections fostered within the Programme’s scientific community.
The research conducted by these five doctoral students will contribute to advancing the Programme’s work in archaeology, heritage conservation, and the study of the societies and cultures of the Arabian Peninsula. Their projects align with the major scientific themes that underpin the Programme’s activities and encourage exchanges among French and Saudi researchers, academics and students.
The Jaussen & Savignac Programme warmly welcomes them and wishes them every success in this new stage of their academic and research careers.
