Hegra Archaeological Project (HAP)

The Hegra Archaeological Project (HAP) ic co-directed by Professor Abdullah Basonbol, at King Saud University and Pauline Piraud-Fournet, researcher at the Jaussen and Savignac Archaeological Research Center, University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
The HAP will continue until 2028 with multidisciplinary research aimed at shedding light on the history of the Hegra (Madāʾin Ṣāliḥ) site in Saudi Arabia
 

It is supported by The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) and by the French Agency for Al-Ula Development (AFALULA).
