European Archaeology Days 2025

The European Archaeology Days (EAD), organised by Inrap under the auspices of the French Ministry of Culture, took place across France and Europe last weekend (13–15 June).

Abdulaziz Almudarra, one of the students in the first cohort of the Master 1 of the Programme Jaussen & Savignac (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and The Royal Commission for AlUla), is currently being hosted by a team from INRAP Centre Val-de-Loire for his archaeological internship.
Based at the former Hôtel-Dieu in Blois, he helped to welcome visitors of all ages, including school groups, and experienced another aspect of an archaeologist's role: reception, communication and cultural mediation.

It was so nice to see him interacting in French with visitors and happy to contribute to the event as part of the great INRAP team !
