End of term for the first cohort of M1 students at Jaussen & Savignac
This is the end of the first year of the Jaussen & Savignac Master 1 in Archaeology and Preventive Conservation (the result of a scientific cooperation agreement between the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and the Royal Commission of AlUla). It's been a year full of courses, placements, visits and lectures organised by teachers from the Sorbonne's School of Art History and Archaeology.
After a year of hard work and effort, all the students in the class successfully defended their internship reports last Friday.
It's worth noting that the Saudi students wrote their reports in French, crowning their two years of language learning.
A final workshop on conservation and prevention (with Delphine Gillot and Charlotte Martin de Fonjaudran) took place today. They will then leave for their archaeological placements all over France: Eure, Alsace, Val-de-Marne, Seine-et-Marne, Seine-Saint-Denis, Touraine and Puy-de-Dôme.
We wish them a great summer and many wonderful discoveries !
