International conference ‘The Parthian-Sasanian Empires at the southern frontier: Archaeology of Presence, Influence, and Interaction in the Arabian Peninsula’

The Jaussen & Savignac Programme (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and The Royal Commission for AlUla) is pleased to announce its fourth postdoctoral seminar.

Parsa Ghasemi, a postdoctoral researcher with the Jaussen & Savignac Programme, has organised an international conference entitled ‘The Parthian-Sasanian Empires at the Southern Frontier: Archaeology of Presence, Influence, and Interaction in the Arabian Peninsula’. Around fifteen specialists will give presentations on this theme during the two-day conference, on 28 and 29 May 2026, in Paris, at the National Institute of Art and Archaeology.
