First session of the seminar "Not All Who Wander Are Lost : The Visibility of (Semi-) Nomadic Communities in the Evolution of Human Societies"

The first session of the seminar ‘Not All Who Wander Are Lost : The Visibility of (Semi-) Nomadic Communities in the Evolution of Human Societies’, organised by Silvia Lischi, postdoctoral researcher in the Jaussen & Savignac Programme (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and The Royal Commission for AlUla), will take place on Tuesday 17 March 2026 at the INHA, in the Pierre Demargne room, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

During this session, Silvia Lischi will draw on the archaeological research she is leading in the Sultanate of Oman to present a talk entitled ‘Rethinking the Concept of (Semi-)Nomadic Communities: Concepts, Models, and Archaeological Evidence from Dhofar’.
